Job Description
BioMarin is seeking a Principal Clinical Medical Writer to oversee medical writing staff, draft and edit documents for clinical development programs, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role involves managing timelines, preparing regulatory filings, and effectively communicating complex scientific concepts to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing within a pharmaceutical setting.
Requirements
- Masters (MS) or higher degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical medical writing
- Relevant experience with drug development processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Copilot, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project/Project Server, and PowerPoint
- Experience with document management software (e.g. SharePoint, Veeva)
- Understanding of standard regulatory guidelines (IND/NDA documentation)
- Strong communication skills
