Director, Scientific Communications & Medical Education

BioNTech is seeking a Director, Scientific Communications & Medical Education to join our US Medical Affairs team. This role is pivotal in advancing BioNTech’s mission to transform lives through cutting-edge science and patient-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Develop and execute a U.S.-specific scientific communications strategy
• Lead the creation, review, and dissemination of U.S.-focused scientific content
• Ensure all U.S. scientific communications comply with FDA regulations
• Design and implement U.S.-specific medical education programs
• Build and maintain relationships with U.S.-based Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Serve as the primary U.S. point of contact for global scientific communications and medical education initiatives
• Collaborate with global medical affairs, clinical development, and commercial teams
• Ensure all U.S. activities meet internal and external standards
