Job Description
Bird is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the implementation of quality assurance and control processes for design, construction, and/or environment. The role involves preparing the Project Quality Plan, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-9 years of experience in the construction industry
- Professional Engineering (P. Eng) designation is highly desirable
- Quality Management Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
- Proficiency in interpreting contracts, government regulations, and technical standards
- Demonstrated expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and value-added processes
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills relevant to quality management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Power BI, and Construction Management System (CMS) software
