Associate Data Engineer (m/f/d)

BIT Capital is looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join their Data & Engineering team. The role involves developing a deep understanding of existing data pipelines, identifying subtle failure modes, and ensuring their correctness in production.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional experience in a data-focused, engineering, or analytical role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong foundations in Python and SQL
• Practical experience using AI tools or AI-assisted workflows for data tasks
• Solid understanding of ETL workflows, data pipelines, and common operational failure modes
