Python Engineer, Asset Pricing & Hedging

Bitpanda is looking for a Python Engineer to help build a powerful system for price and risk management of various investments. The successful candidate will drive technical decisions, build high-performance backend systems, and lead the evolution of event-driven architecture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Python development in product-driven environments
• A deep understanding of RESTful APIs, websockets, and network communication
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong leadership skills to drive technical initiatives and influence the team's direction
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
