BKF Engineers is seeking a Utility Locator to join their Northern California team. This role involves identifying and marking underground utilities during construction using specialized electronic equipment and maps. The position requires accurate and timely utility detection, safe excavation, and thorough documentation. It supports project planning and prevents damage to construction activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience with utility location and underground utility systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing
• Physical ability to perform various tasks
