Job Description
BlaBlaCar is seeking a Confirmed Backend Engineer to join their growing Carpool Core team. This role focuses on improving carpool matching and utilizing geographical intelligence to manage the global carpool inventory. The engineer will contribute to building and maintaining the backend engine, ensuring a reliable and scalable supply of carpool bookings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a growth context
- Solid knowledge of Java and software architecture
- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions
- Significant experience building, deploying, and operating backend microservices
- Product-oriented mindset and focus on business impact
- Proactive questioning and seeking feedback
- Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints
