Staff Structural Designer - Power

Black & Veatch is seeking a Staff Structural Designer to join their Engineering Technician team. This role involves developing and modifying technical deliverables, applying engineering principles, and providing technical guidance to other engineers. Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate preferred
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
• Minimum 5 years related work experience
• Experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include but not limited to CADD or other electronic applications
• Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline
• Basic knowledge of procurement and contract administration
• Competencies including: Problem Solving, Perseverance, Patience, Time Management, Drive for Results, Self Development, Listening, Informing
