Job Description
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily direction and oversight of Telecom Technician teams, organizing and planning work tasks and activities on assigned projects, and ensuring safety and quality results.
Requirements
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to Low Voltage and Structured Cabling Systems installation and construction
- Strong background in coordinating testing and commissioning activities
- Ability to read and understand complex design documents, drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
- Expertise in managing complex fiber optic and structured cabling systems
- Proven ability to oversee field validation of telecom designs
- Highly skilled in developing work activity schedules and sequencing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at conflict resolution and managing differences and diversity in the workplace
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Expertise in managing change control from a technical perspective
- Proficiency in computer, MS Office applications, Blue Beam, and various construction management software applications
