Info Security Ops Engineer II

Blackhawk Network is seeking a highly skilled SOC Detection Engineer II to be a cornerstone of their Global Security Operations Center. This role focuses on engineering next-generation detection capabilities, leveraging Splunk ES and SOAR, AI, and GenAI to proactively identify and neutralize security threats. The position involves creating custom automation, operationalizing threat intelligence, and enhancing cloud security detection.

Requirements

• Advanced Splunk ES and Splunk SOAR skills
• Deep understanding of Python scripting
• Expertise in AI/ML or GenAI in a security context
• Experience managing AWS environments
• Strong cybersecurity operations understanding
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
