Job Description
BlackRock is seeking a seasoned Procurement & Sourcing Vice President to support the Technology Category at a global level. This role will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing and a passion for the technology sector, with experience in the IT professional services area. This is a hybrid position with a weekly office day.
Requirements
- 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience at a consulting, technology, or financial services firm.
- Proven track record of success in a technology-related strategic sourcing advisory role.
- Expertise with sophisticated strategies for reducing spend in the IT consulting services subcategory.
- Deep understanding of category planning, competitive bidding, and vendor selection.
- Excellent financial modelling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
