Senior Backend Engineer

Blend is a premier AI services provider seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to develop scalable and efficient solutions using C# and SQL, leveraging AWS and collaborating with a diverse team in private investment banking.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and SQL, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Build and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS.
• Handle complex data migrations and transformations across multiple systems.
• Rebuild and enhance system integrations with various internal and external platforms.
• Contribute to the development of reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging Snowflake and related technologies.
• Work independently in a dynamic environment, solving technical challenges with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, continuously improving development processes.
• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in C# for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
• Experience with SQL Server and database administration.
• Exposure to React/TypeScript, with the ability to contribute to frontend tasks if needed.
• Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
