Job Description
A truck driver is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another, working long hours and driving long distances. They must possess a CDL-A, be knowledgeable in all traffic laws, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Speak and read English
- Have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Pass a DOT physical and drug/alcohol test
- Complete a Post Offer / Pre-Employment Physical Test
- Complete a background check
- Lift 50 lbs. and use a hand truck and electric pallet jack
- Safely operate both manual and automatic transmissions
- Work extended hours, 2-3 nights on the road, and weekends as necessary
