Job Description
The Climate Data Steering Committee (CDSC) is seeking a Data Specialist to support the pilot of the Common Carbon Credit Data Model with carbon market participants and policymakers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject
- At least 3 years of professional experience with demonstrable expertise in carbon credit markets and/or working with backend data infrastructure
- Strong analytic skills and proficiency in Excel and coding languages, including SQL or Python
- Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling tools
- Experience working with APIs and other applications to exchange data
- Understanding of Data Model maintenance and governance processes
- Experience working across multiple teams or projects and delivering to tight deadlines
- Collaborative approach and exceptional relationship building and communication skills – both written and verbal
