Bloomberg is seeking an Industry Data Analyst to cover a portfolio of companies within sectors such as Energy, Technology, Industrials, Real Estate, Healthcare and Financial Services in Asia. The role involves managing data for companies, building financial models, creating technical solutions, and researching alternative data to provide a data product fit-for-purpose for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, STEM or related field/equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience developing financial models using MS Excel/Python
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modeling and industry analysis
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to clearly communicate business needs in both English and Japanese
- Creative and flexible approach to problem solving, aided by strong data analysis skills
- Understanding of quality assurance and quality control from a data perspective
- Proven understanding of customer service and engagement
