Peer Support Specialist (REC)

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to support individuals in their journey of recovery as part of the Recovery Education Center (REC) Behavioral Health Team in Waynesville, NC. The Peer Support Specialist will provide support services and interventions to inspire hope, promote self-advocacy, and encourage wellness and resilience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a Peer Support Training Program
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving history
