Maintenance Technician I

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain, service, and repair telecommunication network and components. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of electronics, and 2-4 years of experience in a related field.

Requirements

• Perform tasks and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
• Troubleshoot and repair problems in HFC networks and or fiber networks
• Test, balance, align and adjust components, cables and equipment
• Splice and activate fiber optic cables, nodes, transmitters, and receivers
• Assist in training activities
• Perform emergency fiber restoration
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Identify and report all incidents of non-compliance
• Assure system security by following company procedures
• Provide superior customer service
• Complete all tasks to Bluepeak quality standards
• Represent Bluepeak in a competent and professional manner
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior
• Responsible for motor vehicle per company policy
• Identify and repair all instances of signal leakage
• Perform plant serviceability surveys
• Other duties as assigned
