Job Description
BlueRock Therapeutics is a clinical stage cell therapy company seeking a Co-Op Genome Engineering to support the expansion and execution of its Research and Development pipeline. The successful candidate will assist in generating, characterizing, and maintaining induced pluripotent stem cell lines and contribute to investigations into the mechanisms underlying PSC Biology.
Requirements
- Maintain iPSCs and their derivatives using aseptic mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and related molecular assays.
- Troubleshoot experiments and optimize protocols under guidance.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and other process documentation.
- Analyze and document experimental data in electronic lab notebooks in a timely, accurate manner per quality standards.
- Generate, collect, interpret, and communicate experimental results.
- Present findings at internal meetings and contribute to team discussions.
