Job Description
BlueSpace.ai is revolutionizing the autonomous vehicle industry with its 4D Predictive Perception technology, removing reliance on data and increasing accuracy and safety. They are seeking a talented Mechatronics Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for self-driving vehicles, conduct motion studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechatronics, rapid prototyping, and a comprehensive understanding of hardware and software aspects of self-driving technology.
Requirements
- Familiarity with interfacing sensors (cameras, lidars, radars, IMU, GPS)
- Familiarity with electronic control systems (DbW systems)
- Working knowledge of CAN and ethernet-based communications
- Proficiency with lab equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and program for interfacing issues with sensors and electronic control units
- Proficiency with 3D modeling CAD software (SolidWorks or Fusion360)
