Job Description
BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President of Full-Stack Engineering to join their ISSUER SERVICES team in Pune, India. This role involves leading the architecture and implementation of distributed microservices applications, modernizing legacy systems, collaborating with product owners and teams, mentoring engineers, and leveraging best practices in software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java and Spring Boot, and experience in financial services or related regulated industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 16+ years of experience in full stack Java development
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot
- Proven track record of leading complex platform modernization projects
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial services or related regulated industries
- Knowledge of automation tools and AI-assisted development practices
- Experience with front-end frameworks, preferably Angular
