Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design and a strong portfolio of work. The role will involve leading design sprints, conducting user research, and creating compelling design artefacts to communicate UX needs to internal teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years or more experience in a digitally-focused UX/UI design role
- Strong portfolio of work
- Strong communication, leadership and management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience conducting design sprints or workshops with clients
- Up to date knowledge of current web design trends and techniques
- Proficient in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (focusing on Adobe XD) and MS Office
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
- Understanding of marketing and digital strategy, UI, UX and information architecture
- Designing with usability/information architecture in mind
