Product Design Lead

Product Design Lead to lead a 12-month contract project, responsible for high-quality design solutions, team leadership, and collaboration across disciplines.

Requirements

• Engage with business stakeholders to clarify needs and requirements
• Manage day-to-day delivery of design output
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders
• Take ownership of customer experience
• Lead project team and align team members
• Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines
• Actively seek ways to measure the impact of design on the customer and business
• Create creative, innovative, and high-quality design solutions
• Contribute to design within the project and provide thought leadership
• Take ownership in applying design thinking and best practice standards
• Leverage insight and data to ensure customer-centric design
• Design scenarios, mock-ups, and prototypes as necessary
• Align design to design standards and brand guidelines
• Coach and mentor designers in the project team and design team as a whole
• Foster a team environment in which designers feel engaged and motivated
• Continuously build your own expertise by actively seeking and incorporating feedback
• Contribute to the knowledge building of the entire team
