Job Description
Boise Cascade is seeking a forklift operator candidate at our engineered wood products facility in Thorsby, Alabama. This entry-level production position offers opportunities for advancement and requires the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operate machines with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Adhering to plant safety and environmental guidelines
- Performing housekeeping functions
- Troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Performing minor routine preventative maintenance and repairs
- General cleaning, machine operation, loading and unloading, stacking, product grading, operating a forklift, and other tasks
- Contributing to a team environment by cross-training and filling in for operators during absences
