Job Description
The Billing Specialist at Bond CHC is responsible for accurate and timely billing processes, including claim preparation, denial resolution, and regulatory compliance. This role supports health system goals to obtain reimbursement and compensation for services. Success in this position directly impacts health system financial outcomes.
Requirements
- Process daily medical and dental billing for Bond CHC patients.
- Timely follow up on insurance claim denials and exceptions.
- Ensure compliance with FQHC billing regulations.
- Work with third-party payers to resolve billing issues.
- Respond to patient inquiries and insurance company requests.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with the Revenue Cycle Manager.
- Actively participate in quality improvement teams.
- Perform other assigned duties.
