Job Description
BookedBy, a leading business management software for salons, spas, and barbershops, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer. This role focuses on designing, delivering, and mentoring complex software features, ensuring scalability and reliability of the platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical execution and the broader business context, fostering AI adoption and driving high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep knowledge of system design, architecture, and modern engineering practices
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain large-scale applications
- Hands-on coding skills in modern frameworks/languages (e.g. Java, C#, Node.js, Python)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, databases, and API design
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical quality of a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity or experience with the .NET framework
