Geotechnical Engineer

Manage the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructures, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with the mechanics and properties of soil and rock, including their interaction with structures and underground facilities
• Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental control systems to maintain regulatory and company environmental standards
• Experience conducting analyses of hard and deeply buried underground facilities and the surrounding geology under applied loads, environmental conditions, and weapons effects
• Experience examining seismic, electrical, or electromagnetics data to characterize underground facilities and hard and deeply buried targets
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Certified Professional Geologist, Professional Geologist (PG) License, Certified Hydrologist (CHG), or Certified Environmental Geologist (CEG) Certification
