Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight for operations, maintenance, repair, and construction work. Plan, conduct, and direct projects or major phases of significant projects and coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a facilities professional
- 2+ years of experience in a mechanical systems or construction field
- Experience with the implementation or execution of design documents
- Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
- Ability to evaluate conditions and draft engineering memos that provide sound engineering guidance consistent with industry best practices and all federal, state, and local codes
- Ability to review and perform engineering calculations
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with MAXIMO
- Experience with new and existing building systems
- Experience with site surveys and calculations
- Knowledge of the ASHRAE standards, International Building Code, and NFPA publications related to mechanical systems
- Knowledge of CAD systems, AutoCAD, or REVIT
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- LEED Certification
- EIT Certification
