The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will develop and integrate advanced modeling architectures to enhance training, analysis, and decision-making capabilities across the Air Force enterprise. The role requires 3+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training programs, with experience in COTS and GOTS M&S and data science tools, scripting or programming languages, and knowledge of combat weapon systems and standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within Department of Defense simulation and training programs
- Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M&S and data science tools
- Experience with scripting or programming languages, including C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
- Knowledge of combat weapon systems, ground-based radar technologies, and surface-to-air platforms
- Knowledge of High-Level Architecture, Distributed Interactive Simulation, or Open Mission Systems standards
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science Field
- IAT Level II Certification
