The Opportunity: You will work with U.S. Air Force personnel to develop test strategies, support document development, evaluate test procedures and execution, and monitor test activities. As a test engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the development and evaluation of test plans and procedures of the next generation Global Positioning Services (GPS) receivers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting DoD Test and Evaluation activities, test planning, including development or review of test plans, procedures, and reports
- 5+ years of experience in Integration and Test on space systems
- Experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, and Kanban Board
- Knowledge of military GPS systems and technologies
- Ability to comprehend GPS receiver Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and GPS Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs)
- Ability to participate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering, test, and integration activities, and work collaboratively and independently
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technology field
