Research Assistant I- Translational Research Lab

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time Research Assistant position in the Translational Research Lab (TRL) in the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. The team is developing new technologies including injectable oxygen therapies and nanomaterials for imaging and therapeutic applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in chemistry, Materials or Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related field is preferred.
• Prior research experience in a wet lab including materials synthesis, formulation, and fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
• The ability to accurately carry out protocols with an emphasis on attention to details, and good record keeping.
• Open-mindedness, good communicational, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and curiosity to learn new skills and unfamiliar techniques.
