Surgical Scheduler I- Ophthalmology

Coordinates the scheduling of inpatient and ambulatory surgical procedures for operating rooms. Works with nursing, surgical, and anesthesiology staff to monitor and evaluate scheduling procedures and develop strategies to promote efficient utilization of surgical suites.

Requirements

• A high school level of education, bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year healthcare admin experience
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
