Manager, Hardware Test Engineering

Boston Dynamics is seeking a hands-on Test Engineering Manager to lead a small team of test engineers, architect and develop Python code, and develop test strategies for hardware and firmware validation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electrical test engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in technical leadership or people management roles
• Hands-on experience designing, building and debugging electro-mechanical test setups
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, programmable loads, thermal probes
• Experience with compliance testing including conducted/radiated emissions and safety
• Experience with Python, and command-line operations in a UNIX-like OS
• Experience with communication interfaces, e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
