Job Description
Atlas is our next-generation humanoid robot designed to perform useful work in dynamic environments. We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of Atlas's grippers.
Requirements
- Contribute to the design of key gripper subsystems
- Develop and analyze mechanisms
- Apply engineering fundamentals across materials, tribology, thermals, and tolerance stack-ups
- Use CAD and analysis tools to model, simulate, and validate designs
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers
- Support prototyping, bring-up, and issue resolution
