As a Senior Industrial Engineer at Boston Dynamics, you will spearhead the creation and continuous improvement of production concepts and layouts, leading cross-functional teams to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
Requirements
- BS or higher in an engineering technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a product manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, preferably in robotics, aerospace, or complex electromechanical systems.
- Proven track record in implementing efficient production systems and leading cross-functional projects.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with rapid development cycles while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with MES and ERP systems (preferably Tulip and Rootstock) in a production environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including use of tools like Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across functions and levels.
