Senior Staff Software Engineer, Diagnostics

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Boston Dynamics, you will design, debug, and code real-time systems to bring our Stretch warehouse robots into advanced automation environments at scale.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills
• Contribute to a modern large scale C++ codebase
• Genuinely interested in learning and understanding the intricacies of our robot hardware
• Bachelor’s degree (with 8+ years of experience) or Masters Degree (with 6+ years of experience) or PhD (with 3+ years experience) in electrical engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in C++ and coding principles
• Strong analytical and debug skills
• Familiarity with control systems
• Enthusiasm for the field of robotics and troubleshooting complex systems
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
