Harm Reduction Technician

Boston Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a part-time Harm Reduction Technician to provide in-the-moment, low-threshold medical access to patients in shelters throughout the city. The technician will ensure safe monitoring of sedated patients and provide clinical assessments, case management, and linkages to addiction treatment.

Requirements

• EMT Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• 1-2 years of EMT experience
• Strong assessment skills, self-directed, motivated, and flexible with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
