Data Product Manager, IC

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to support its Cardiology Sales Operations franchise. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions. The role will involve balancing strategy, governance, and implementation of a data platform, working with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs for data, and ensuring well-designed data models for Business Intelligence. The position is based in Maple Grove, MN, and requires a hybrid work model with at least three days of in-office work per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or relocation assistance for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with digital technology development, product management, product design, or product engineering for a platform product
• Hands-on experience with implementing modern data stack technologies and frameworks, including ETL processes
• Background in data governance strategy and implementation
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data models that facilitate accurate and efficient data analysis
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and extracting insights from large datasets
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) data-related services such as Redshift, Glue, or S3
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical mindset with an understanding of key impact on customers and stakeholders
• Challenger mindset with a passion to challenge the status quo and drive out-of-the-box ideas
• Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with minimal direction
