Data Engineer

Botpress is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain a robust data infrastructure for their product and revenue data. The role involves building a scalable data system connecting users and business, involving data ingestion, transformation, and modeling. Collaboration with engineering, product, and revenue teams is key to establishing a modern data stack and supporting analytics, experimentation, and long-term growth.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency in BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse
• Strong coding skills in Python
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines (Segment, dbt, custom frameworks)
• Understanding of modern data modeling practices
• Ability to design for maintainability and long-term scalability
