Chief Financial Officer (73254)

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the organization's financial health and stability, providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues, and overseeing the financial aspects of grant applications and management. The CFO will lead a department of three staff members and collaborate closely with the executive team and the board of directors to make informed financial decisions that support the organization’s mission and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable.
• 5 + years of progressive financial leadership experience, especially within nonprofit organizations, with an understanding of payroll and payroll compliance.
• Strong familiarity with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations.
• Exceptional financial analysis, strategic planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial software and tools.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
