Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) is seeking an Individualized Afterschool Program Assistant to support youth in their programs. The successful candidate will assist with planning, modifying, and preparing program materials, work with youth who have special needs, and develop alternative communication supports. The role requires strong youth development skills, ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher OR 48 college units and a high school diploma
- Candidate should demonstrate competency in working with youth who have been designated mild/moderately impaired by an IEP, acting quickly and effectively in emergencies, working with and relating to all individuals within a culturally diverse environment
- Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to clearly communicate complex processes to program staff and Club member families
