Job Description
The AmeriCorps LEAD Member position offers a temporary community service opportunity to students during a specific academic year. Members will provide tutoring and mentoring support to youth, utilizing programs and evidence-based curricula. The position offers a stipend, bi-monthly living allowance, and the opportunity to participate in professional development and explore other service activities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or GED recipient, or working towards attaining during the term of service
- US Citizenship or permanent residency status (Green Card)
- 3 letters of reference needed upon selection
- Clearances Act 33, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR letter
- Mandated Reporter Certification within 30 days of hire
