Substitute Teacher-Wegner Day School

Substitute Teacher needed at Wegner Day School, a safe and enriching academic environment for children with special education and regular education needs. Requirements

• Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate
• PEM, CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model
• Ability to deliver instruction in an effective and efficient manner
• Ability to modify or adapt general education curriculum
• Ability to maintain a high level of professional competence via in-service education, self-selected professional education, and curriculum development
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to the use of a behavioral approach to motivate student learning
• Ability to demonstrate concern and respect for individual students
• Ability to communicate concisely, both orally and in writing
