Substitute Teacher needed at Wegner Day School, a safe and enriching academic environment for children with special education and regular education needs. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining accurate records, and supervising students. Must possess a commitment to working with boys and girls with special academic and emotional needs.
Requirements
- Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate
- PEM, CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model
- Ability to deliver instruction in an effective and efficient manner
- Ability to modify or adapt general education curriculum
- Ability to maintain a high level of professional competence via in-service education, self-selected professional education, and curriculum development
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to the use of a behavioral approach to motivate student learning
- Ability to demonstrate concern and respect for individual students
- Ability to communicate concisely, both orally and in writing
