School Counsellor

Brightwaters Christian College is seeking a compassionate School Counsellor to support students' wellbeing. The role involves counselling, collaborative support with teachers and parents, and implementation of mental health programs. It is a part-time position commencing as soon as practicable.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in counselling
• Demonstrated experience in counselling children and young people
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to Christian education and willingness to contribute to the spiritual life of the school
• Knowledge of child protection legislation
• Ability to design and deliver group programs
• Genuine Christian, actively involved in local church
• Heart for young people and their holistic development
• Model a Christ-centred approach
