2025-26 Elementary School Instructional Coach: Humanities

Brilla Schools is a growing K-8 network in the Bronx, NY, seeking an Instructional Coach to support teachers in aligning instruction with the curricular and instructional vision of Brilla Schools. The Instructional Coach will serve as the content expert and planning authority for literacy components, ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment, high-quality learning opportunities, and exceptional student performance.

Requirements

• Passionate commitment to Brilla Schools' educational mission and holistic child development
• Embrace of Classical education principles with a focus on nurturing students' well-rounded growth
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution, preferably in English/Language Arts
• Current elementary school teaching certification and demonstrated teaching excellence
• Experience in special education (preferred) and familiarity with Classical liberal arts education
• Proven track record in fostering outstanding student growth and coaching teachers
• Strong, diverse content knowledge across grade levels or subjects
• Dedication to character development in both children and adults
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Spanish language proficiency (preferred)
