Job Description
Brinqa is a leading provider of unified cyber risk management and security analytics. They are seeking a senior Software Engineer to develop risk management solutions as part of their Cybersecurity Knowledge Platform. This role involves building a scalable data pipeline, optimizing pipeline performance, and collaborating with various engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions for Fortune 500 customers. The ideal candidate has a background in leading large-scale SaaS applications.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a senior or architect role
- Proven experience designing large-scale data pipelines in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink, Beam)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Typescript
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
- Strong knowledge of streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
- Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
