Furniture Restoration Apprentice

Broad River Retail is seeking a Furniture Restoration Apprentice to join its Operations team. The position is responsible for assessing damages and repairing furniture proficiently with appropriate methods for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable with manual labor
• Experience with color matching & blending
• Experience with case goods repairs including burn-ins & wood graining
• Leather repairs including scuffs, holes, and tears
• Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• High level of attention to detail and professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
