Accountant

Our client, a global investment manager, is seeking a strong senior accountant to join their finance function. The role involves managing accounts, reconciling assets and profit & loss, and preparing tax calculations for German foreign trade compliance. Experience with IFRS, Local GAAP, and German/English fluency is required.

Requirements

• Execute account booking, supervision, and reconciliation.
• Manage, complete, and oversee manual payment runs.
• Prepare quarterly tax calculations, including Corporate Income Tax and Corporate Trade Tax.
• Register and monitor German foreign trade regulations compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting standards: IFRS, Local GAAP, RechKredV, and Investment law.
• Fluency in German & English.
