Academic Tutor - Writing Center - Hourly

The College is seeking a pool of applicants for hourly Academic Tutor positions for the English Department Writing Center. Assignments could be a Lincroft main campus and/or College’s Higher Education Centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English or closely related field is required
• Knowledge of word processing
• In-depth knowledge of the process approach to writing instruction
• Excellent grammar and interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to work with students with special needs and students for whom English is a second language
