Public Securities Group, Investment Operations Associate (Security Master)

The Public Securities Group, Investment Operations Associate (Security Master) role requires a firm understanding of buy side operations, specifically fixed income, equity, bank loan, swaps, and derivative security creation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will utilize technology platforms, engage with internal teams, and investigate and resolve security master data issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations creating and maintaining security master data at an investment management company or hedge fund
• Prior experience creating and maintaining security master data
• Understanding of security master data flows across multiple systems and vendor feeds
• Prior experience with portfolio accounting and security master software
• Bloomberg knowledge related to security data fields
• General knowledge of corporate actions and trade support and processing
• Experience working on project teams as a subject matter expert related to process improvement
• Ability to think strategically and clearly communicate ideas to various levels of management
