Applications Engineer

Brooks is a leading provider of automation solutions with over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. The Applications Engineer will provide technical support, product knowledge, and technical expertise to sales staff and customers.

Requirements

• Provide primarily pre-sales/beta unit technical support for complex products/applications/solutions
• Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer
• Understand customer requirements, use-case, and high value problems
• Prepare and present design reviews to customers
• Work objectively as a team member to quickly respond to customer needs
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Develop and deliver product features and performance demonstrations
• Lead on-site product evaluations
• Assist with Design & Verification Testing (DVT) and Acceptance Test (ATPs)
• Lead product first-article integrations at customer sites
• Assist business unit engineering teams with customer escalations
• Debug complex issues with the Field Service staff
